Event Update 9.30.24: Due to the recent hurricane and damage done to the Lake City Sports Complex, the Inaugural Dreams Come True Tournament is cancelled. We will be gathering with the event organizers to plan the tournament for early 2025. More details to come soon! Together Making Dreams Come True for Children and Their Families

USFA and Dreams Come True are joining forces to bring you the First Annual Dreams Come True Tournament in honor of Dreamer and former collegiate softball player, 21-year-old Brooke Michael. 

Brooke was in her senior year of high school when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. While undergoing months of grueling rounds of chemotherapy and proton therapy, Brooke continued to play softball at Ridgeview High School, joining her team as they won team districts, regionals, and had a final four appearance. 

Throughout Brooke's medical journey, she met many people; but, one organization stood out - Dreams Come True. Dreams Come True will always hold a special place in the hearts of Brooke and her family. As northeast Florida's locally based dream-granting organization for children battling life-threatening medical conditions, Dreams Come True fulfilled Brooke's Montana Treehouse Dream in 2022. The trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, providing Brooke and her family the chance to have fun together and let cancer take a back seat. Now, almost two years later, Brooke is ready to give back and make a child's dream come true. 

Brooke and her family, along with USFA and Dreams Come True, are working together to raise funds to sponsor the dreams of at least two children, and hopefully more! Brooke's goal is to bring to other dream families the opportunity to leave their illnesses behind them and bring families together to create long-lasting memories. 

All donations received through this site will be applied 100% toward the dreams of children serviced by Dreams Come True.
